HGV Training for Drivers Based in Henley-on-Thames
Henley is a small town with a quiet pace of life — which is one of the reasons people who live here are often drawn to work that takes them elsewhere. Commercial driving offers exactly that: variety, independence, and a career that does not depend on staying in one place. If you have been thinking about it, the pathway into the industry is more accessible than it might appear from the outside.
HGV training is accessible to drivers based in Henley-on-Thames through our network. When you contact us, we will walk you through what is involved and make sure you are starting from the right place.
How We Work
We coordinate HGV training from end to end. That means the first call is not about selling you a course — it is about understanding your situation. Your current licence, your goals, the practical realities of your week. From there, we find the right course, manage all the administration, arrange your medical, and handle your theory and practical test bookings throughout.
A dedicated coordinator stays with your case from the first conversation to the day you qualify. Once training is complete, we move into employment support — job placement help and a CV rewrite are both included as part of the service. HGV drivers typically earn between £35,000 and £50,000 a year, depending on experience, licence category, and employer. |

Licence Categories Available Through Our Network
Cat C is the rigid vehicle licence and the starting point for most people new to commercial driving. Cat C+E adds the articulated trailer entitlement — often called Class 1 — and broadens both the range of employers and the earning potential available to you considerably.
We also coordinate Cat C1 for medium vehicle licences, which includes the entitlement required by paramedic students and certain specialist roles, along with Category C1+E, Horsebox Driver Training, HIAB, ADR, and Driver CPC for drivers maintaining or adding to a licence they already hold.
If you are not sure which category fits your goal, that is the first thing we work out together. You do not need to know the answer before you call.
Pass Protection
Pass Protection gives you one additional attempt at the practical test — either the 3A reverse exercise or the 3B driving test — with one to two hours of further preparation beforehand. It is there for drivers who want to go into their first attempt with a fallback in place should they need it. Terms and conditions apply. Speak to a member of the team for full details.
Trusted, Experienced, and Backed by Real Reviews
We have been coordinating HGV training since 2012. What that experience translates into is a process that works consistently — clear communication, no unnecessary hold-ups, and real support at the employment stage when training is done.
Our 500+ verified Excellent reviews on Trustpilot are from real drivers who went through that process. They reflect not just successful training outcomes but an experience that people found worth recommending.
