We help new HGV drivers gain their Driver CPC training. This is often called Initial CPC training. And because your Driver CPC must be renewed every 5 years, we can help you retain it, too. This is often called Periodic CPC training.
Driver CPC and grandfather rights were introduced in 2009 to ensure all HGV drivers retrain to the same standard. If you’re caught driving HGVs professionally without a Driver CPC, you could face up to £1,000 in fines.

If you fall into this category, you have acquired rights. That means you’ll need to complete 35 hours of training.
Enquire about Periodic CPCIf you passed after January 1997, you'll need Initial CPC first. The Initial CPC is made up of two parts: a theory test, and a practical test. Both are completed at a local Test Centre, and last around 30 minutes each.
