An ADR Licence (Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route) is your ticket to transporting dangerous goods.

The ADR Certification is a European agreement which governs the carriage of dangerous goods throughout Europe, it is designed to ensure all materials are safely and securely throughout the countries. The ADR can be used by all drivers from Car to Category CE and must be renewed every 5 years.

Training Length – 5 days

The process of completing your ADR licence with The LGV Training Company will include a complete training programme, where you will learn the ins and out of your chosen ADR classes. The complete ADR Licence is made up of 9 different classes and you will qualify in your chosen classes. Our experienced instructors provide hands-on training that is designed to help drivers pass their ADR examinations with confidence.

What is an ADR?

The ADR licence is the qualification you will need to transport dangerous goods throughout Europe. ADR is an acronym for the French saying Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises Dangereuses par Route, but don’t worry you won’t be expected to learn that!

How do I become an ADR Driver?

You will need to complete and pass a 5 day course including tests to get your ADR qualification.

Why do I need an ADR licence?

You will need the ADR qualification to be able to transport dangerous goods throughout Europe.

How long does an ADR licence last?

Your ADR qualification will be valid for 5 years and can even count towards your CPC hours, but do make sure you come back to us after 4 years to get yourself renewed.
