If you’re new to HGV driving, but looking to maximise your earning potential, then our C+E fast track course is for you.
Following a rule change in 2021, you no longer need to hold a Category C licence before starting Cat C+E training. You can now obtain provisional entitlement for both at the same time.
Driver’s wages have gone up nearly 30% for Class 1 drivers – your earning potential in a Category C+E vehicle is up to 50k a year. And because of the shortage in Class 1 drivers, newly qualified drivers are needed now more than ever.
The course will take you from car to artic driving, in just 6 days. The course will include all training and tests needed for you to acquire both your Category C and C+E licence categories.
Completing the fast track course means you’ll find work that suits you, whether that be long or short haul, with jobs ranging from just a few short hours to a few days. You’ll be able to take your pick.

To help you prepare for your test, we offer a huge range of online learning materials and 1:1 support from our advisors.
A training advisor will contact you to schedule a convenient time to train. Once you begin, our experienced instructors will spend 3 days providing all the preparation you need to pass your practical test.
After passing your practical test (congratulations!), take your Driver CPC Initial Qualification (if applicable) and attend your two-day Direct Access work skills course. We have a great job search team available when you are ready to apply for LGV jobs in your area!
