HGV Training for Drivers Based in Aylesbury
There is never a perfect time to retrain. There is always something in the way — the mortgage, the kids, the job you cannot afford to walk away from yet. Most people who contact us have been weighing this up for longer than they would like to admit. If you are at that point, it is worth having a conversation before you talk yourself out of it again.
Drivers based in Aylesbury can access HGV training through our network. There is a school within a short distance of the town, which means the logistics of getting started are more straightforward than you might expect.
How the Process Works You do not need to have everything figured out before you call. That is what the first conversation is for. You tell us where you are — what licence you currently hold, what you are hoping to move into, and what your life looks like around it. We find the right course, arrange everything on your behalf, and keep you informed at every stage. When your training is complete, we help you find work. That means recruitment support and a CV rewrite included in the service. HGV drivers typically earn between £35,000 and £50,000 a year, depending on experience, licence category, and employer. For many people making this move, the difference in income is the whole reason they started looking. | |
Licence Categories Available Through Our Network
The most common starting point is Cat C — the rigid vehicle licence that opens the door to most commercial driving roles. From there, many drivers go on to Cat C+E, which covers articulated vehicles (sometimes called Class 1) and significantly broadens the range of employers and routes available to you.
Cat C1 covers medium-sized vehicles and is the licence required for certain specialist roles — paramedic drivers and some horsebox operators come through this route. We also coordinate Category C1+E, Horsebox Driver Training, HIAB, ADR, and Driver CPC for drivers who need to maintain or build on an existing qualification.
If you are not sure which category fits your goal, say so when you call. Working that out together is part of what we do.
Pass Protection
Pass Protection is available if you want the reassurance of a safety net going into your test. It gives you one additional attempt at the practical — either the 3A reverse exercise or the 3B driving test — plus one to two hours of preparation beforehand. Terms and conditions apply. Speak to a member of the team for full details.
Fourteen Years of Getting Drivers into Work
We have been coordinating HGV training since 2012. In that time we have built a network of schools and a process that removes the guesswork for the driver. You have a named coordinator. You know what is happening and when. And when the licence lands, we are already working on what comes next.
We have 500+ verified Excellent reviews on Trustpilot. We think that matters — not because reviews are a badge, but because they tell you that the people who came before you felt looked after.
