HGV Training for Drivers Based in Fleet
The decision to retrain does not usually arrive all at once. For most people, it has been building for a while — a growing sense that the job they are in is not going anywhere, or that the pay has stalled, or that they want something with more long-term stability. HGV driving keeps coming up. And eventually the question becomes: how do I actually make that happen?
HGV training is accessible to drivers based in Fleet through our network. We are here to answer that question properly — not with a brochure, but with a real conversation about your situation.
From That First Call to Your First Role
We coordinate everything. That starts with understanding what you need — your current entitlements, the licence category you are working towards, and what your life looks like around training. From there, we find the right course and handle everything behind the scenes: the medical, the administration, the theory and practical test bookings.
Your coordinator stays with you throughout. They are the same person you spoke to at the start, and they are actively managing your case — not just responding when you chase. When training is done, job placement support and a CV rewrite are included as part of the service. HGV drivers typically earn between £35,000 and £50,000 a year, depending on experience, licence category, and employer. |

Courses Coordinated Through Our Network
Cat C covers rigid vehicles and is usually where new drivers start. It is the foundation for most commercial driving careers and opens up a solid range of roles immediately. Cat C+E adds articulated vehicles to your entitlement — often called Class 1 — and broadens the employment picture significantly.
We also coordinate Cat C1 for medium vehicle licences, including those needed by paramedic students and certain specialist drivers, plus Category C1+E, Horsebox Driver Training, HIAB, ADR, and Driver CPC. Whether you are starting from nothing or adding to a licence you already hold, we can find the right route.
Not sure where you sit? We will help you work that out in the first call.
Pass Protection
Pass Protection means that if you need an additional attempt at your practical test — either the 3A reverse exercise or the 3B driving test — you have one available, along with one to two hours of further preparation beforehand. It is designed for drivers who want to go into their test knowing there is a fallback if they need it. Terms and conditions apply. Speak to a member of the team for full details.
The Coordination Behind the Licence
Fleet sits in a well-connected part of north Hampshire, close to major road networks and a broad spread of commercial employers. The area is home to a mix of business parks, distribution operations, and service industries — all of which need qualified drivers.
We have been coordinating this journey for drivers since 2012, and our 500+ verified Excellent reviews on Trustpilot tell the story of what that coordination actually feels like: supported, straightforward, and backed up into employment at the end.
