HGV Training for Drivers Based in Bracknell
The question most people are really asking is not ‘how do I get an HGV licence’ — it is ‘can someone like me actually do this?’ The answer, more often than not, is yes. What gets in the way is usually not ability. It is not knowing where to start, or not being sure the timing is right, or not wanting to make an expensive mistake.
HGV training is accessible to drivers based in Bracknell through our network. Get in touch and we will help you work out whether the timing is right and what the process looks like from where you are standing.
From Enquiry to Employment — What We Do
We coordinate the full training journey. That means finding the right course for your licence category, handling the administration, booking your theory and practical tests, and keeping you updated throughout. You have a named coordinator from the start. You are not working through a system — you are working with a person.
When you qualify, the support carries through into finding work. We help with job placement and include a CV rewrite as part of the service. For drivers making the move from warehouse work, van driving, or other lower-paid roles, the earning difference is often the reason they started thinking about HGV in the first place. HGV drivers typically earn between £35,000 and £50,000 a year, depending on experience, licence category, and employer. |

Courses Coordinated Through Our Network
Cat C (rigid vehicles) is the most common starting point for drivers entering the industry for the first time. Cat C+E adds the articulated trailer entitlement — often called Class 1 — and is the licence that gives drivers access to the widest range of employers and routes.
We also coordinate Cat C1 for medium vehicle requirements, Category C1+E, Horsebox Driver Training, HIAB, ADR, and Driver CPC. Whether you are starting from scratch or building on a licence you already hold, we can find the right route for you.
If you are not certain which category you need, we will help you figure that out in the first call.
Pass Protection
Pass Protection gives you one additional attempt at the practical test — the 3A reverse exercise or the 3B driving test — along with one to two hours of extra preparation time beforehand. It is available for drivers who want that added layer of security before test day. Terms and conditions apply. Speak to a member of the team for full details.
Support That Does Not Stop at the Licence
We have been coordinating HGV training since 2012. Over that time we have built a process that puts the driver first — clear communication, no unnecessary delays, and real support into employment once training is done. Our 500+ verified Excellent reviews on Trustpilot reflect what that looks like in practice.
Berkshire has a strong commercial and logistics base, and the demand for qualified HGV drivers in and around the area is consistent. Qualifying is only half of it. Knowing where to go next is where we earn our place.
