Farralls Transport, founder member of Palletforce, has signed a deal potentially worth £10million to be the sole UK pallet network provider for Dandy’s Rock Salt.co.uk.
The two-year deal between the Chester-based firm, a founder member of Palletforce – the UK’s leading palletised distribution network, and Dandy’s has been reached with a view to extending the contract by five years in 2013.
Over the total seven years the deal is worth an estimated £10million.

Dandy’s is the only UK based rock salt supplier able to have continuously supplied the general public as well as businesses up and down the country with much needed grit during the worst three winters in over two decades.
To continue to offer that high level of service it was pivotal for Dandy’s to ensure that they have a sole provider that would excel all year round no matter the weather or volume of pallets being sent out.
Dandy’s chose Farralls Transport following the enormous amount of hard work and outstanding levels of customer service given by the team at Farralls and other Palletforce members when delivering Dandy’s freight over the past eight months.
