CollectPlus, a joint venture between parcels giant Yodel and retail payment provider Paypoint, has reported a doubling of parcels volumes in the last six months to more than four million packages a year.
Mark Lewis, CEO of CollectPlus, says: “The last six months have been impressively strong for CollectPlus.
“As we move into 2012, our next area of focus will be to further develop our Click & CollectPlus service, which allows consumers to pick up goods bought online from their local CollectPlus shop.”
He adds that recent research has shown that two-thirds of online shoppers are attracted to this concept and that the business expects it to be a key area of growth.
CollectPlus has recently won contracts with JD Sports, Oasis, Asda Direct and Argos Outlet and is preparing to launch a service for eBay users.
