Category C LGV Training Courses

As a driver you will frequently encounter large heavy goods vehicles on your journey, and when you consider the demand on suppliers to deliver goods across the world it no surprise that there is a similar demand for LGV drivers. If you want a new career which offers you flexible working hours and a wage of £25,000 then get yourself booked into an LGV training course because becoming a LGV driver ticks every single one of these criteria.

One place you are sure to receive a comprehensive training course is here at the LGV Training Company. We will guide you through the whole process, making the potentially daunting procedure easy and stress free. We tell you what to do, when to do it and at the end of it you will have a brand new career as a LGV driver.

As professionals in the haulage industry, we have a thorough understanding of how a LGV licence is obtained. Previously the Category C LGV Training course was classified as two individual licences; these were the old HGV Category 3 and 2 licences.

The HGV Category 3 licence meant that the driver could drive a rigid vehicle with no more than two axles. The Category 2 HGV licence allowed the holder to drive any rigid vehicle with more than two axles. The new LGV Licence which has replaced these two means that the holder can drive any LGV vehicle, regardless of the number of axles, the weight or the size. This has increased the prospects of LGV drivers, as it means that if you are a holder of a LGV licence you are capable of driving any LGV truck – which is very beneficial from an employee’s perspective.
