You can have peace of mind when training with The LGV Training Company as all of our training schools are DSA registered. You may not believe it, but it is not compulsory for a training school to be of a DSA standard. We believe in offering the very best standard of training available, not just to get you passed but also to make sure that you are a safe and competent driver on the road. At the end of the day, we're road users too, so it's in our interests to make sure you're a safe driver!
We know that booking an LGV Training Course is a big decision. You need to make sure you're confident of the training provided, as well as making sure you have confidence in your financial investment. For both these reasons, The LGV Training Company is registered with the Road Haulage Association. This means we are up to date with all EU laws and legislations, we maintain the training we provide at the high standard expected by industry professionals, and, what's more, if you really want to you can check up on us and see that we're a company you can trust.
There are loads of companies offering fixed price five day courses, but at The LGV Training Company we know that not everyone is the same. People are unique. We've been there and we know it can be a tough decision to make. We also know that we weren't sure how much training we'd need when we first began to drive. So here are some tips to help you decide which LGV Training Course to go for.
- Perhaps you're a confident driver. You may have driven a car or van for a few years, and have a good knowledge of the ways of the road. You might have worked as a Driver's Mate, or spent time around large vehicles in your job role. Someone like you could take one of our recommended four day LGV training courses.
- If you're a confident car driver, but you haven't had much experience around large vehicles, you might want to take one of our five day LGV Training courses. You'll get a bit more time behind the wheel to get your confidence up.
- We know some people take a little longer to get used to things. If you're a bit daunted by the prospect of being in control of such a large vehicle, you might want to think about our six day LGV Training course. This course allows you to spend a bit more time familiarising yourself with the vehicle and manoeuvres.
